The greek word ‘elia’ means ‘olive’, ‘olive tree’ but also ‘wart’. So, wanting to raise awareness of the increasing melanoma incidences, which are often "camouflaged" in the form of common warts on our bodies, we placed next to the ancient olive trees exposed to high traffic places in Athens, signs with the message: "Are you sure it’s an olive tree? Take a better look." In this creative way, we reminded passers-by the need for regular check of warts on our bodies. The outdoor installation was implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Athens and was signed by the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (EDAE).
